Merle Liivand

Merle Liivand has worked as an Earthday.org Ambassador for EARTHDAY.ORG in 2023, promoting cleaner waters, oceans, rivers, and lakes. Merle is also the founder of the Mermaid Merle Liivand Foundation, established in 2022. Additionally, Merle Liivand served as the Chief Executive Officer of Mermaid Merle Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an ocean ambassador and CEO for Swimera in 2018 and 2014 respectively, and a brand partner for Viking Beauty Secrets in 2019. In 2011, they began their marketing career as a specialist for Sigmatic OÜ, where they facilitated the transport and installation of furniture for customers.

Merle Liivand has an associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Estonian Tourism and Hotel Management. Merle also has a high school diploma from Pirita Economic High School, where they studied Business/Managerial Economics from 2007-2010.
