Haakon H. Jensen serves as the CEO and Managing Partner of Bertel O. Steen Kapital AS, focusing on private equity investments in small to mid-cap companies since May 2019. Jensen holds multiple board positions, including Chairman of the Board at Ardoq, Athene Group, and Viking Footwear, as well as board member roles at Bertel O. Steen Industri AS and Bertel O. Steen Power Solutions. Previous experience includes serving as CEO of Investinor AS and membership on the board of Sundvolden Holding AS. Jensen's educational background includes an M.Sc. in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and an exchange program at NYU Stern School of Business, specializing in investment banking and corporate finance.

It all dates back to 1920 when our founding father, Peter Mathias Røwde, started making rubber products to combat the harsh Norwegian climate. A few years later Viking boots were used by fishermen, foresters and all kinds of explorers. Our product range has grown to satisfy more needs, while we still stay true to our founder’s initial idea. Today you’ll find our products on both the highest mountains and in kindergartens.
