Fernando Egidio

Fernando Egidio has a diverse and extensive work experience in the maritime and shipping industry. Their most recent role was as a Sales Director - North America at VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S. Prior to that, they worked as an Integration Manager - Viking/Norsafe Brazil and as the Brazil Country Manager at the same company. Fernando also served as the Offshore Operations Director at Grupo Bravante, Offshore Operations Manager at Wilson Sons, and Brazil General Operations Manager at Maersk Supply. Additionally, they held various managerial positions at Maersk Line, including Brazil Operations Manager and Stowage/Operations Manager South America. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Marine Cargo Planner at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company and as a Deck officer at Aliança Navegação e Logística.

Fernando Egidio has a diverse education history. In 1996, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nautical Sciences from EFOMM. In 2002, they pursued a Postgraduate degree at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Environmental Safety. In 2003, they obtained a degree in Port and Harbor Management from MAGNET - APMT. In 2017, Fernando completed a certification in Contract Law through HarvardX on edX. Fernando also participated in the CBS Executive Fonden's Global Management Development Program in 2022 with a focus on leadership.
