Thomas Hestehave has a range of experience in marketing communications and e-commerce. Thomas started their career as a Marketing Communications Intern at thomas-as in 2009. Thomas then worked as a Team Leader at Choice Hotels International from 2004 to 2005. Thomas then moved to IKAS Institut for kvalitet og akkreditering i sundhedsvæsenet, where they held various roles including Student Assistant - Communications, Quality Consultant, and Communications Consultant from 2010 to 2012. Thomas then joined MacArtney A/S as a Marketing Coordinator from 2012 to 2015. Since 2015, Thomas has been working at VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S, where they have worked their way up from Marketing Communications Specialist to Director of Marketing Communications & E-Commerce, holding several intermediate roles within the company.

Thomas Hestehave has a diverse education history. Thomas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Management Communication from Aarhus University in 2009, followed by a Master's degree in Corporate Communication from the same institution in 2011. In 2002, they completed their HHX (International) degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Holstebro Handelsgymnasium. Thomas has also pursued certifications in project management, becoming a PRINCE2® Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner from IBC International Business College in 2017. In 2018, they earned a UXQB Certified Professional for User Experience (CPUX-F) qualification from the International Usability and User Experience Qualification Board. Recently, in 2021, Thomas Hestehave acquired a C1 Football Coach certification from DBU (Dansk Boldspil Union), focusing on Sports Studies.
