Tom Lindberg has a diverse work experience in various companies. Tom started their career at PBI Research Institute as a Project Manager, where they had responsibilities such as coordinating projects and managing resources. Tom then moved on to Sonera Juxto Oy and TeliaSonera Finland Oyj, holding different managerial positions. At TeliaSonera, they were in charge of project managers and development specialists and responsible for the project portfolio. Later, they worked at TeliaSonera Finland Oy as a Development Manager, leading a team focused on online product development. After that, they joined Sanoma / Welho Oy as a Development Manager, overseeing development projects and the project portfolio. Tom then transitioned to DNA Oyj, first as the Head of Online Services, and later as the Department Manager for Digital Services. In these roles, they led digital transformation initiatives, developed working processes, and established partnerships. Before their current position as the Chief Digital Officer at Viking Line, they worked as the Head of Digital Sales Channels at Danske Bank, where they developed a new digital sales platform and managed the partnership with the technical platform provider.
Tom Lindberg obtained an MSc in International Marketing from Åbo Akademi University, graduating in 1999. Tom later completed a JET-Johtamisen erikoisammattitutkinto (specialized professional degree in Management) from Sanoma-Akatemia between 2007 and 2009. Prior to their university education, Tom attended Åshöjden High School. In addition to their formal education, Tom Lindberg is a Certified Scrum Product Owner, certified by the Scrum Alliance in 2013.
