Merrell Stout is the Managing Partner at Viking Mergers & Acquisitions, where Merrell assists business owners in selling their companies. Prior to this, Merrell was the Principal at Stout Holdings, providing financial and operational analysis for small to middle market companies. Merrell also served as the General Partner at Ridge Capital Partners, making investments into small to middle market companies. As the CEO of Southland Sanitation, Merrell doubled EBITDA and improved operational performance leading to a successful sale. Additionally, Merrell has experience in market management at Carrier Corporation and corporate development at CIENA Corporation. Merrell holds an MBA from the University of Rochester and a BA in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College.
