Junior Industrial Designer at Viking Range

Andrew Vincent has a diverse work experience in industrial design, teaching, and student roles. Andrew worked as a Junior Industrial Designer at Viking Range, LLC starting in 2021. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student Worker at Auburn University in 2020, where they CNC routed visual and final guitar body prototypes. Andrew also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Auburn University from 2018 to 2019, where they taught students how to CNC route and developed a process for managing 3D print requests. Additionally, Andrew worked as a Student Ambassador at Autodesk from 2016 to 2018, promoting Fusion 360 CAD and delivering on-campus training. Andrew also held various teaching roles at Auburn University, including Adjunct Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they taught CAD programs and managed a studio's SLA 3D printer. Furthermore, Andrew gained industry experience as an Industrial Designer at CSP Technologies, Inc. and MechOptix, Inc., working on projects related to medical containers and snowmobile brake lights. Andrew also worked as a Graphic and UX/UI Designer at OCV, LLC, creating app mockups and marketing materials. In addition, Andrew collaborated with Assistive Technology Studio to develop a prosthetic fairing cover. Throughout their work experiences, they have demonstrated skills in CNC routing, teaching, CAD programs, 3D printing, and product design.

Andrew Vincent's education history includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Drawing and Painting from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which they obtained from 2008 to 2014. Andrew then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Design at Auburn University, which they completed in 2016. Following this, Andrew continued their education at Auburn University and earned a Master's degree in Industrial and Product Design from 2016 to 2022.
