Mike Morneau

Mike Morneau has extensive work experience in finance and administration roles. Mike started their career at PwC as a Manager of Business Assurance from 1992 to 2001. Mike then worked as a Controller at Gensym Corporation from 2002 to 2004 and at Momenta Pharmaceuticals from 2004 to 2006. Mike served as the Director of Finance at SGX Pharmaceuticals from 2006 to 2009. From 2009 to 2014, they were the VP of Finance at Trius Therapeutics. Currently, they are Vice President of Finance and Administration at Viking Therapeutics, Inc., holding this position since April 2018, after serving as the Chief Financial Officer from 2014 to 2018.

Mike Morneau received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire, where they studied from 1984 to 1987. Following this, they pursued further education at Southern New Hampshire University, where they obtained both their Master of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees. This was achieved during the period from 1987 to 1990, with a focus on Accounting and Business.
