Kaushik Chowdhury

Kaushik Chowdhury has extensive work experience in the legal field. Kaushik is currently working as the Head of Legal at Vikram Solar since 2022. Previously, they held the position of Vice President and Head Legal at Essar Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Ltd from 2019. Before that, they worked as a Partner at Kaushik Chowdhury Associates, Advocates from 2012, specializing in complex litigation and providing comprehensive contract documents. Kaushik has also worked as the Head of Legal at Mosedu Knowledge Foundation from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President- Operations at Lexplosion Solutions Private Limited in 2011 and as the Branch Head at Singhania and Partners LLP from February to June 2011. Kaushik started their legal career as a Managing Partner at Mantrita Legal Solutions from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Partner at Kaushik Chowdhury Associates from 2000 to 2006.

Kaushik Chowdhury pursued their education in a chronological manner. Kaushik attended Julien Day School from 1981 to 1988, where they completed their grade school education. Following this, from 1988 to 1991, they enrolled at The Assembly of God Church School, specializing in Accounts and Commerce, where they obtained their ISC degree. Lastly, from 1991 to 1996, Kaushik attended South Calcutta Law College and successfully earned their LLB degree, majoring in Law.
