Lauren Marallo has a diverse work experience spanning a variety of roles in different companies. Lauren recently joined Villa as an Engineering Project Manager in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Compass from January 2021 to October 2022, where they served as a Marketing Advisor. In this role, Lauren created and managed strategic marketing plans for a portfolio of over 125 customers, utilizing various tactics such as branding, print advertising, digital media, and video. Lauren also liaised with design teams, vendors, and customers to ensure timely project delivery. Lauren's marketing skills continuously evolved through completing two 10-week courses on Adobe InDesign and Content Marketing in 2022.

Before their time at Compass, Lauren worked at the University of California San Diego from 2018 to 2021. Lauren held multiple roles including Digital Marketing Specialist, Annual Giving; Interim Executive Assistant; and Administrative Operations Assistant. In these positions, they developed digital marketing strategies, provided executive support, and managed administrative operations.

Prior to that, Lauren worked at MDC Research as an Account Manager and Project Manager from 2016 to 2018. At SurveyMonkey, they served as a Project Manager, Audience, from 2015 to 2016, where they designed online surveys to collect consumer insights.

In earlier stages of their career, Lauren worked as a Project Assistant at David Heil & Associates, Inc. in 2014 and as a Visitor Service & Events Associate at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture from 2012 to 2014. Lauren also gained experience as a Visitor & Customer Service Lead at the San Diego Natural History Museum from 2010 to 2012.

Lauren Marallo is an individual with a diverse educational background. Lauren obtained a Master's Degree in Museology/Museum Studies from the University of Washington from 2012 to 2014. In 2005 to 2009, Lauren completed their Bachelor's Degree in Art History at Humboldt State University.

Additionally, Lauren pursued further education by earning a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Portland State University between 2016 and 2017. Lauren also holds several certifications, including "New Directions in Audience Research" from the University of Washington Museology Graduate Program in June 2014, "Advanced Google Analytics" from Google in June 2021, and "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google in June 2021.

It is important to note that there is information missing regarding the specific month and year for obtaining the "Museum & Gallery Practices" certification from Humboldt State University.
