Devi Somaru

Devi Somaru has a diverse background in finance and customer service with a progressive career in accounting. Currently serving as an Accounting Analyst at Villa & House since November 2018, Devi has held various roles including Junior Accountant and Accounts Receivable Coordinator. Prior experience includes roles in accounts receivable at Derek Lam and a bank teller position at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where leadership skills were demonstrated in the supervisor's absence. Devi also has experience in the food service industry, having worked as a server at both Brownstone Diner & Pancake Factory and Liberty Park Café, as well as a crew member at McDonald's. Early career experience includes assisting in a student-led tutoring program at 15 Together. Devi is currently pursuing education at Valencia College, building upon a foundational degree from New Jersey City University.
