Michael Heen

Michael Heen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michael started their career in 2001 as an Account Services Supervisor at Fingerhut, where they gained experience in coaching, training, and performance management. Michael later worked as an External Agency Auditor at CompuCredit, developing process audits and overseeing regulatory compliance. Michael also served as a Recovery Supervisor at Fingerhut, leading a collection team and implementing collection strategies.

In 2009, Heen joined American State Bank and Trust as a Commercial Loan Officer, managing a portfolio that grew from $5 million to $32 million. Michael analyzed financial data, inspected customer businesses, and negotiated credit terms. Michael then worked as a Commercial Loan Officer and Business Credit Manager at American Heritage National, overseeing loan reviews, managing the SBA lending process, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Heen continued their career as a Commercial Closer at Minnesota Secured Title and as a Commercial/Ag Loan Officer at Granite Bank, where they maintained and grew a business portfolio and minimized customer turnover. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management at St. Cloud State University from 2003 to 2006. Later on, Michael Heen furthered their education at St. Cloud State University, earning an additional MBA in Business Administration and Management.
