Eva Waweru

As Communications Senior Associate, Eva coordinates Village Capital’s communications efforts in four distinct regions: Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and MENA (the Middle East and North Africa).

Working alongside the programmatic teams, she’s keen to raise the visibility and profile of the organization through storytelling.

Eva joined Village Capital from Mowgli Mentoring, where she led the organization’s communications, supporting project delivery and business development activities targeting Africa, the Middle East, and the UK. Before that, she worked as Mara Foundation’s Community Manager, managing the online and offline engagement of Mara Mentor, Africa’s largest online mentoring platform.
