Heather Strachan Matranga

Heather is the Vice President and Managing Director of Impact Investments at Village Capital, where she helps partner organizations leverage Village Capital's expertise in new sectors and geographies.

Prior to joining the team, Heather worked as an attorney advisor for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, where she provided legal support to the Agency's efforts to help individuals and state and local governments recover from disasters. Before that role, Heather served as the Special Assistant to the Deputy Administrator of FEMA, implementing strategic initiatives and providing advisory support.

Heather holds a J.D. from SUNY at Buffalo Law School, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a B.A. in International Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University.
