As Chief Operating Officer, Peter focuses on Village Capital’s people, finances and technology to help achieve our mission, and also heads up product strategy to build new ways of solving problems for impact-driven entrepreneurs and investors.
Before joining Village Capital, Peter led digital media businesses as VP/GM, including Military Times and USA TODAY High School Sports. Before that, Peter was Vice President of Product Development and Deployment at Gannett Digital with responsibility for building, rolling out and marketing new digital products. Peter led the deployment of digital initiatives across 100+ local media properties, including design standards, content management, email marketing and web analytics platforms, and local-market integrations for CareerBuilder and Cars.com.
Before joining Gannett, he launched one of the first local news websites for The Lawrence Journal-World in Lawrence, Kan., also home to the University of Kansas, where he received a bachelor's degree in Journalism & Mass Communications.
