Rosemary Sitler

Science Teacher at Village Community School

Rosemary Sitler is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in teaching science across various grade levels. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at Village Community School since September 2022, Rosemary previously worked at Collegiate School from August 2012 to June 2023, instructing 7th grade Life Science, 8th grade Physical Science, and 9th grade Biology, while also moderating the Yearbook club. Rosemary’s background includes a role as a Development Assistant at Collegiate School, where responsibilities included planning fundraising events and maintaining donor relationships. Prior teaching experience includes positions at the Academy of Mount St. Ursula, where courses taught included Regents level Earth Science and Biology, along with moderating extracurricular clubs. Rosemary also held the position of Program Director at SCORE! Educational Centers, overseeing staff hiring and training, and tutoring students. Educational qualifications comprise a Master’s degree in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Barnard College.
