Anthony Deland is an experienced educator with a diverse background in mathematics and fine arts instruction. Currently serving as an Academic Instructor in Mathematics at Springdale Job Corps since March 2015, Anthony has developed a comprehensive mathematical program of study. Additionally, as an Art Teacher at Village Home Education Resource Center since March 2014, Anthony focuses on K-12 fine arts curriculum. Prior roles include Lead Instructor at Trackers Earth, where Anthony designed survival skills and ecology curriculum, and Art Teacher at Molalla River Academy, where Anthony established the Fine Arts program. Anthony's experience also includes student teaching at multiple educational institutions and serving in the U.S. Peace Corps, where Anthony created educational media for the deaf community in Kenya. Anthony holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Concordia University-Portland and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

We offer community, classes, and more for learners of all ages, by providing academic and social enrichment in a family-friendly environment. The vision of Village Home is to be a community model for family-centered, home-based education that inspires and supports self-directed, lifelong learning.
