Alex Calder

Alex Calder has a strong background in operations and management roles. Alex is currently the Co-Founder & CEO at Village Labs, where they help marketplace platforms acquire users, drive engagement, and reduce churn through incentive and communication structures. Prior to this, Alex was the VP of Operations at Oliver Space from 2019 to 2022. Alex also worked at Uber from 2013 to 2019, holding various positions such as Group Manager, Senior Manager, and Product Operations Manager. During their time at Uber, Alex played a key role in launching and scaling UberX and UberTAXI in Sydney, as well as working on analytics, marketing, and driver operations.
