Susan Basaraba

Susan spent most of her growing up years in rural Marion County. She attended a small, 2 room school through the eighth grade, and then she graduated from a small-town high school in that farming community.

Susan first heard of Village Missions while attending a local church. She was able to get to know many active and retired missionaries. Susan’s heart was touched as they would report on Village Missions and share stories from their fields – knowing that these small communities were not forgotten.
