Zachary Hewett

Zachary Hewett, MBA, CLGFO has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Zachary most recently served as the Finance Director for the Village of Bald Head Island starting in July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at the City of Randleman as the City Manager from May 2018 to July 2020, and as the Finance Director from December 2014 to November 2018. Before joining the City of Randleman, Zachary worked as a Finance Officer at the BHM Regional Library System from August 2013 to December 2014. Zachary also gained experience as a Graduate Assistant at East Carolina University from August 2012 to May 2013.

Zachary Hewett earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from East Carolina University in 2011. Zachary then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Business Administration and Management, General, as well as a Certificate in Management Information Systems, General, from the East Carolina University College of Business between 2011 and 2013. In 2018, they obtained the certification of Certified Local Government Finance Officer from the NCGFOA.
