Justin Keenan

Justin Keenan is an experienced municipal professional currently serving as Assistant Village Manager for the Village of Deerfield, Illinois, since May 2015. Previous roles within the Village of Deerfield include Assistant to the Village Manager, Assistant to the Director of Public Works and Engineering, and Public Works Analyst. Prior to this, Justin worked as an Administrative Intern for the Village of Glen Ellyn, where responsibilities included managing resident complaints, implementing staffing changes that resulted in significant budget savings, and overseeing community grants. Earlier experience includes internships with the Springfield-Sangamon County Regional Planning Commission and the Village of Midlothian, focusing on planning, economic development, and GIS mapping. Justin holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science and Global Studies from the University of Illinois Chicago and the University of Illinois Springfield.
