Ryan Nero Csp

Ryan Nero CSP, ASP, CHST, currently serves as Group Safety Director at Granite Construction, a position held since January 2002, overseeing safety activities for the company's Heavy Civil Group involved in large-scale infrastructure projects nationwide. Previously, as Group Safety Manager, Ryan managed a team of 20 safety professionals, coordinating safety measures across various operating groups and divisions. Additionally, since May 2019, Ryan has taken on dual roles as Commissioner of Public Health & Safety and Commissioner of Streets & Public Improvement for the Village of Forest Park, responsible for critical public services such as road construction and maintenance. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Safety Technology from Northern Illinois University, earned in 1999.
