Amanda Martinez is a skilled professional with a focus on community development and urban planning. Currently serving as the Plan Commissioner and Marketing Commissioner for the Village of Tinley Park since February 2024, along with roles as Community Development Planner for the Village of Frankfort since July 2023, and Associate Planner for the Village of Plainfield, IL from April 2022 to July 2023. Prior experience includes positions at Zephyr Government Strategies, Shalom Chicago Group, the University of Chicago, Cunningham Township, and the Chicago Urban Art Retreat Center. Amanda holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning with a concentration in Policy and Social Justice from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Early career experience includes work as an Accounting Clerk at Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney.
