James Patton

James Patton, P.E., serves as the Assistant Village Engineer for the Village of Glendale Heights since April 2022. Prior to this role, James worked as a Civil Engineer for the Illinois Department of Transportation from June 2016 to April 2022, and as a Construction Engineer at Bollinger, Lach & Associates, Inc. from June 2015 to June 2016, where responsibilities included inspecting various development projects. An earlier position as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Southern Illinois University involved surveying and updating campus maps. James gained foundational experience as an intern at the Illinois Department of Transportation and began a career in customer service with McDonald's Corporation. James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
