James Gorny

James Gorny currently serves as the Information Technology Manager at the Village of Glenview since July 2023. Prior to this role, James held the position of Site Manager/SharePoint Administrator at InterDev, LLC from January 2016 to July 2023. Earlier in James's career, significant experience was gained at Municipal GIS Partners, Inc. (MGP Inc.) between February 2005 and December 2015, where roles included Office 365/SharePoint Specialist, GIS Coordinator, and GIS Specialist. James's responsibilities involved leading the creation of new service lines for Office 365/SharePoint solutions, managing technical support for a $3 million client revenue, and enhancing GIS program efficiencies for various municipalities. James began professional experience as a Lead Intern with the City of Charleston, contributing to data acquisition and GIS data management. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Eastern Illinois University.
