Dawn Scott

Dawn Scott has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as a Human Resources Generalist for the Village of Hanover Park since May 2014. Key responsibilities include managing worker’s compensation and liability claims, overseeing the full cycle of recruitment, administering promotional processes for Police and Fire Departments, and coordinating wellness programs. Additionally, Dawn serves as the interim staff liaison for the Cultural Inclusion and Diversity Committee, supports union negotiations, updates payroll systems, and maintains compliance with employment laws. Prior experience includes working as a Recruitment Specialist for DuPage County and serving as a server at Moretties, where customer service and team leadership skills were developed. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Roosevelt University.
