Omar Santos is an experienced engineering technician, currently serving at the Village of Hanover Park since July 2019, where responsibilities include inspecting public infrastructure projects and resolving drainage complaints. Previously, Omar held positions as a TED Inspector at the City of Naperville from August 2013 to July 2019, where oversight included street maintenance projects, and as a Project Manager for the City of Rockford from July 2012 to August 2013, focusing on capital improvement contracts. Earlier experience includes working as an Engineer 1 at the City of Elgin from March 1999 to January 2012, managing land development projects and public infrastructure contracts. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Environmental & Urban Geography from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de San Luis Potosi.
