John Finnell

John Finnell is an experienced professional in the field of forestry and park management, currently serving as the Superintendent of Parks and Forestry for the Village of Hinsdale since January 2007. Finnell has a robust background as a Forester, having worked for Nels Johnson Tree Experts from November 2001 to January 2007 and with the Village of Oak Lawn from July 1996 to November 2001. Prior to these roles, Finnell contributed as a Volunteer Coordinator and Peace Corps Volunteer from September 1992 to February 1996. Finnell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earned between 1986 and 1990.
