Michael W.

Michael W. is an experienced Hazmat Team Leader at Mabas 10 Hazmat since January 2019, overseeing a diverse team of 45-50 individuals across multiple fire departments in hazardous material incidents. In addition, Michael serves as a Hazmat Technician for MABAS Division 10 and the Village of Hinsdale, while holding various roles as Firefighter/Paramedic/Hazmat Technician. Michael contributes as a Police and Fire Commissioner for the City of Countryside and as a CPR instructor, Fire Inspector, and Fire Prevention Coordinator within the Fire Department. Previous experience includes firefighting and paramedic roles at Paramedic Services of Illinois and the Aurora Township Fire Protection District, alongside electrical installation in the US Navy and carpentry work. Michael is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colombia Southern University, holding multiple associate degrees in Fire Science/Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services from the College of DuPage.
