Sandra Acevedo

Sandra Acevedo is a dedicated professional with a background in law enforcement and sports coaching. Currently serving as a Police Officer for the Village of Hinsdale since March 2020, Sandra utilizes skills gained through a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections and a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago. From September 2016 to November 2020, Sandra held the dual roles of Director and Coach at the Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association, where a strong focus was placed on developing the athletic skills and personal growth of girls aged 7-14, promoting teamwork, self-motivation, and fitness.
