Jim Donahue

Jim Donahue is an experienced Senior Planner with a career in municipal planning spanning over two decades. Since October 2006, Jim has been with the Village of Hoffman Estates, where responsibilities include managing and reviewing residential and commercial development projects, as well as presenting staff reports and recommendations to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Prior to this role, Jim served as a Planner for the Village of Plainfield from January 2005 to October 2006 and for the Village of Bolingbrook from July 2000 to January 2005. Jim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned from 1982 to 1986.
