Lamar Jones

Lamar Jones is currently serving as the Assistant to the Village Manager at the Village of Lincolnwood since May 2022. Prior to this role, Lamar held the position of Assistant Director of Human Resources at Elk Grove Village, IL from May 2016 to May 2022, where significant contributions included analyzing response times for the Fire Department, organizing accreditation documentation, and improving operational efficiency. Lamar also interned in the Elk Grove Village Fire Department and held various roles, including Administrative Intern at the Village of Itasca and Enrollment Representative at the University of Phoenix. Lamar's earlier experience includes positions as an Employment Specialist at Centerstone and a Correctional Officer with the Indiana Department of Corrections. Lamar holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
