Amit Thakkar, CPA, ACA has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles within various local government entities. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer/Director of Finance for the Village of Mount Prospect, overseeing a substantial annual budget, leading a team of 15 employees, and managing a wide range of financial operations. Prior to this role, held positions such as Director of Finance at the Village of Bensenville, Accountant at the Village of Buffalo Grove, and Senior Financial Accountant at the City of Fort Wayne. Holds a CPA degree from California Board of Accounting and a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
