The Village of Niles, incorporated in 1899, is located in Cook County, Illinois, and borders the north side of Chicago. The Public Safety team at the Village of Niles, IL, is responsible for maintaining law and order, ensuring the safety of residents, and enhancing the overall quality of life in the community. Comprising roles such as Deputy Chief of Police, Commander, Detective, Police Sergeant, and Police Officer, this team performs a range of duties including patrolling neighborhoods, responding to emergencies, investigating crimes, and engaging in community outreach programs.
