Village of Romeoville
John Allen has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Crime Scene Investigator at the Romeoville Police Department since November 2016, focusing on the collection and processing of evidence for major crimes. Additionally, John has been a K9 officer and police officer for the Village of Romeoville since July 2000, handling police-related calls, completing necessary paperwork, and issuing traffic citations. Previous experience includes serving as a Correctional Officer at the Cook County Department of Correction from January 1994 to January 1995, where John supervised inmates and ensured their safety. John is pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration at Governors State University, expected to complete in 2023.
