Peter Schaak

Peter Schaak has a strong background in information technology and management. Peter started their career as a Programmer/Analyst at Aquion Water Treatment Products in 2001. Peter then worked as a Project Manager at the same company from 2003 to 2005. After that, they served as an IT Manager at RainSoft/AWTP, LLC from 2005 to 2007. Peter went on to become an IT Manager at SPX Filtran in 2007. In 2008, they joined the Village of Schaumburg as the Assistant Director of Information Technology, and later became the Director of Information Technology in 2012. Prior to their career in IT, Peter worked as an Office Manager/Senior Loan Officer at The Mortgage Choice from 1997 to 2000.

Peter Schaak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northeastern Illinois University, completing their studies from 1990 to 1995. Later, they pursued further education at the DePaul Driehaus College of Business and obtained an MBA in Information Technology, which they completed from 2003 to 2007.
