John Mastandona

John Mastandona has a diverse work experience in various financial and accounting roles. John is currently the Director of Finance at the Village of Western Springs, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Director of Finance at the same organization from May 2019 to September 2022.

Before joining the Village of Western Springs, John worked at the Village of Bloomingdale, where they held the role of Accounting Manager from January 2018 to May 2019, and an Accountant from June 2014 to December 2017.

John's earlier experience includes working as a Staff Accountant at MFRI, Inc. from March 2012 to June 2014, and as an Accountant/Medical Billing specialist at Lisa Kim Medical Associates from March 2011 to September 2011.

John also gained valuable experience as an Intern Tax Preparer at Martin Hood Friese & Associates in January 2009, and started their career at Pepboys as a Customer Service Representative from November 2004 to November 2007.

John Mastandona earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economics from Illinois Wesleyan University. John attended the university from 2006 to 2010.
