Marcy Knysz

Marcy Knysz, AICP, serves as the Village Planner for the Village of Wheeling since July 2019, leveraging extensive experience in project management and planning. Prior to this role, Marcy worked as a Senior Project Manager/Senior Planner at Manhard Consulting from September 2016 to July 2019, and held various positions including Planning, Permitting & Licensing Practice Leader at TRC Companies, Inc., and Senior Consultant at Cardno. Marcy's career began at Gordon Consulting as Owner/Environmental Consultant & Planner, and has included roles such as Senior Planner for the County of Lake and Project Manager for the US Army Corps of Engineers. An educational background includes a Master’s degree in Biology from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Structure Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
