Alejandra Cease

Alejandra (Alex) Cease, MPA, SHRM-CP, has served as the Human Resources Manager for the Village of Wilmette since April 2006, holding various roles including Assistant to the Village Manager and Assistant to the Police Chief. Alejandra has extensive experience in the Illinois Army National Guard, retiring as a Major after a distinguished career that included positions such as Brigade Assistant Support Operations Officer and Company Commander. Alejandra is a Gulf War Veteran with expertise in logistics and operations. Academic achievements include a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the same institution, along with a Human Resources Certificate from Triton College.
