Kevin Sorby

Kevin Sorby is currently a forester at the Village of Wilmette. From May 2000 to September 2001, they were a contracted urban forester with Natural Path Forestry Consultants, where they completed tree-by-tree analysis, inventory, GIS, and database management for cities in Illinois, Montana, Washington and Wisconsin. From October 2001 to July 2002, they were a landscape crew leader with David J. Frank Landscape Contracting, Inc. And from July 2002 to July 2003, they were the district plant health care coordinator with The Care of Trees.

Kevin Sorby has a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, a field in Public Administration from Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, and a field in Biological Conservation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Kevin is certified from the International Society of Arboriculture in ISA Certified Arborist and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. Kevin is also certified from the Illinois Department of Agriculture in Commerical Not-For-Hire Pesticide Applicator.
