Village of Woodridge
Background The Village of Woodridge is located in south-central DuPage and northeastern Will Counties. Conveniently located along I-355 and I-55, Woodridge combines a thriving economy with a high quality of life to create the ideal location for your business. With a current population of 35,921 and a population of 247,380 within a five mile radius, the Woodridge area residential population provides strong market support for new and expanded retail development. Economy Commercial, residential and industrial development occurred at a rapid pace throughout Woodridge and the entire southwestern Chicago metropolitan region in the past 10 years. A major source of this growth is ProLogis Park Internationale Centre. ProLogis Park Internationale Centre, one of the region’s premier business parks, is home to more than ten million square feet of office, manufacturing and warehouse space and has brought many jobs and new residents to Woodridge. Location And Transportation Woodridge’s success is due in large part to its centralized location and its connection to the regional transportation system. Woodridge is linked to the rest of the region via an extensive highway network. The most significant of these highways are Interstate Highway 55 (I-55) and Interstate Highway 355 (I-355), also known as the Veteran Memorial Tollway. I-355 is the principal north-south toll road serving DuPage County and Will County. There are three I-355 interchanges within the Village, each of which has become a vital commercial node.
