Village Presbyterian Church
Lindsey Shriver has a robust background in education, specializing in early childhood and English language instruction. Currently serving as a Preschool Teacher at Village Presbyterian Church since August 2020, Lindsey previously taught at Bethany Lutheran Pre-School from August 2017 to July 2020. Additionally, experience includes roles as an English as a Second Language Teacher at Central Elementary School from August 2011 to July 2017 and as an ELL Teacher at Olathe North High School from August 2009 to August 2011. Lindsey holds a B.A. in Spanish from The University of Kansas, completing the degree between 2002 and 2006.
Village Presbyterian Church
Village Presbyterian Church is a family of faith actively shaped by the life of Christ to love one another, provide leadership for the transformation of our communities and serve the world. Village Church was founded in 1949. After serving as senior pastor for 19 years, Rev. Tom Are became co-pastor with Rev. Dr. Rodger Nishioka. In 2017, Village opened the Village Church Antioch Campus, located at 14895 Antioch Road in Overland Park. Village Church also manages the Meneilly Center for Mission at 99th and Mission Road in Overland Park, which includes a Child and Family Development Center and a Food Pantry and Clothes Closet that serve the surrounding community. Please join us for Sunday morning worship in the Village Church Mission Campus Sanctuary at 9 and 11 a.m., or The Gathering, alternative worship , at 5 p.m. Sundays in Friendship Hall.
