Rafael Valim

Rafael Valim is an experienced sound engineer and co-founder with a robust background in the music industry. Currently serving as the Head of Lights at The Piano Works Group since August 2021, Rafael also holds multiple sound engineering positions at venues including EartH (Evolutionary Arts Hackney), Village Underground, Islington Assembly Hall, and O2 Academy Islington. Since June 2019, Rafael has co-founded Realleza and has maintained a long-standing role as a sound engineer with CANDY APPLE BLUE LTD and ACHEI LONDRES LIMITED since 2013 and 2011, respectively. Rafael's early career includes teaching guitar at the Bom Dia Brasil Festival. Educational qualifications include technical diplomas in classical and jazz fusion guitar, as well as harmony and theory from EM&T, alongside three years of undergraduate study in Classical Brazilian Guitar from Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM.
