Joe Greenberg

Joe Greenberg has extensive experience in legal roles focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and securities law. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of M&A and Corporate Transactions - Legal at VillageMD since February 2023, Joe previously held the position of Vice President of Global M&A-Legal at Walgreens Boots Alliance from April 2015 to February 2023. Joe's career at Walgreens spanned from June 2010 to April 2015, during which time Joe served as Divisional Vice President and Director in Corporate, M&A, and Securities Law. Prior legal experience includes positions as Vice President and General Counsel at Chicago Newspaper Liquidation Corp., and Associate General Counsel at Sun-Times News Group. Joe started as a Partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, where Joe practiced from 1990 to 2005. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and an A.B. in Philosophy and History from Washington University in St. Louis.
