Hope Ngwira

Hope Ngwira is an experienced professional in advocacy and communications, currently serving as Senior Manager at VillageReach since May 2018, where responsibilities include engaging with national governments and stakeholders to support Responsive Primary Health Care initiatives. Previous roles include Advocacy and Communications Officer at UNAIDS, focusing on national agendas related to HIV and AIDS, and Communications and Advocacy Advisor at the United Nations Population Fund, where program strategies were developed. Early career experience includes leadership in PEPFAR HIV and AIDS programs at the Christian Health Association of Malawi and knowledge management at the Malawi Institute of Management. Hope holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Administration and a Master of Arts in Communications and Mass Media from Missouri State University, along with a Bachelor’s degree from Andrews University.
