Dan Griffin

Dan Griffin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in humanitarian programs and development in East and Southern Africa. Currently serving as the Director at Villanova University since July 2016, Griffin previously operated as an Independent Consultant from August 2014 to July 2016, focusing on strategic planning, proposal development, and program evaluation for humanitarian initiatives in the region. Prior to this role, Griffin held the position of Senior Regional Representative for East and Southern Africa at Catholic Relief Services from September 2001 to August 2014, accumulating over 20 years of living and working in Africa, with significant expertise in humanitarian, security, and advocacy efforts in Sudan and South Sudan. Dan Griffin holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Regis University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
