Jennifer Santoro

Jennifer Santoro is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Villanova University since August 2019, specializing in undergraduate and graduate GIS courses within the Department of Geography and the Environment while also developing new courses. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and GIS Instructor at the University of Vermont, where Jennifer contributed to model-based decision support tools for forest management and taught GIS to students. Additional teaching experience encompasses positions at Lake Superior State University and previous involvement in various research and conservation projects. Jennifer holds a PhD in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont, a Master of Forestry and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University, and a BA in Environmental Science and English Language & Literature from Hamilton College.
