Jonathan Gust

Jonathan Gust is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Media Relations at Villanova University, a role held since July 2007. Gust has played a pivotal role in establishing Villanova's first Media Relations department within the Office of University Communication and Marketing. Prior to this position, Gust worked as the Director of Communications for the Big East Conference from 2004 to 2007, managing media relations for 16 organizations and overseeing efforts for significant events like the Big East Men’s Basketball Championship. Gust’s career began in the Villanova Athletics Department, where an Assistant Director of Media Relations position was held from 1998 to 2004. Gust holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Villanova University, earned in 1997.
