Jonathan Gust

Jonathan Gust has extensive experience in communication and media relations, having served at Villanova University from January 1998 to July 2021, where Jonathan played a key role in establishing the university's first Media Relations department. As Executive Director of Media Relations and previously in positions such as Assistant Vice President and Director of Media Relations, Gust significantly contributed to the university's communication strategies. Prior to this, Gust worked as Director of Communications for the Big East Conference from January 2004 to January 2007, managing media relations for multiple organizations and overseeing significant events like the Big East Men’s Basketball Championship. Gust holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Villanova University, earned between January 1993 and January 1997.
