Megan P. Willoughby

Megan P. Willoughby serves as the Faculty Ombudsperson at Villanova University since May 2019, providing confidential, independent, and impartial assistance to faculty regarding workplace concerns. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel and Subject Matter Expert at the U.S. Department of Education from November 2005 to October 2021, where responsibilities involved enforcing federal civil rights laws, ensuring school compliance, and resolving discrimination complaints. Previously, Megan worked as a Legal Associate at Stradley Ronon, focusing on civil commercial litigation and defending brokerage firms in NASD Arbitration. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University - Camden, a Master of Public Affairs and Politics from Rutgers University Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Boston College.
