Michele Gandy

Michele Gandy currently serves as the GIS Laboratory Manager and Instructor at Villanova University since March 2019, having previously held the position of GIS Specialist at Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art from October 2015 to March 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Natural Land Steward at Mt. Cuba Center, Inc. from May 2013 to October 2015, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University for an Environmental Geomatics course in 2012. Earlier in the career, Michele was a Biological Science Technician at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service from May 2009 to August 2011, focusing on vegetation surveys and invasive species management, and spent time as a Research Assistant at Boston University from September 2007 to January 2009, supporting research on climate change effects on migratory birds. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Ecology and Conservation from Boston University and a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolution from Rutgers University.
